As ad revenue goes up for search engines, Google is estimated to be paying Apple nearly $3 billion, up from $1 billion three years ago, to remain the default search engine on iOS devices this year.

This is according to a United States brokerage and investment firm Berstein. This goes to show just how much money Apple devices generate for Google, apparently around 50% of all Google search engine revenue is from iOS devices.

We must be in the wrong business…
